The double life of a city cleaner

Few could associate Wang Shuwei, a cleaning lady in Guangzhou with an online indecent image inspector, but she has been moonlighting as one for nearly a month.

Wang, 40, originated from Henan province, found the part-time job at an internet company through a friend. She earns 50 yuan($8) per hour.

Normally, Wang makes 1,650 yuan a month as the cleaning lady of a 32-floor residential building.

Wang and her husband, moved to Guangzhou ten years ago for work. They needed to pay tuition fees for their two sons, and support their parents financially.

Wang's part-time job involves looking at a screen of tens of thousands of photos uploaded by dating app users, reported chinanews.com. It is her job to delete the images that are deemed pornographic.

Wang said her first day as an inspector was really awkward and seeing the photos made her blush. She hasn't told her husband about her side job.
