Beijing Hotel underwent a major refurbishment towards the end of 2000 and all rooms are comfortably renovated and spacious. Roaming about in the brilliance of 1917's French Art Deco architecture, one feels like they have gone back to the old days. In contrast, the oriental buildings were built separately in 1954 and 1974 and present typical Chinese architecture.
