Diehard fans of Kunqu Opera in Beijing will be delighted to watch A Date of Orchid and Pearl. It consists of parts of four classic Kunqu works - The Palace of Eternal Youth, Peach Blossom Fan, Romance of the Western Chamber, and The Peony Pavilion. The last one is about a love story between a poor scholar and a young woman from a rich family and how they fall in love in each other's dreams.
