Finnair opened the first direct route from Xi'an to Europe on June 14, with three flights per week to and from Helsinki through the end of October. Economy roundtrip fares start at 11,195 yuan. Finnair, the third largest European air carrier between Europe and China, this year is celebrating 25 years of service between Beijing and Helsinki. Finnair also flies from Shanghai, Hong Kong and Chongqing.
