The sixth BioFach China, Asia's most influential organic trade fair, was held in Shanghai on May 24 with more than 200 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions participating.
Telunsu Organic Milk was the only brand to represent China at the BioFach Congress in Nuremberg, Germany in February.
In Shanghai, it won a gold award and acclaim from organic product experts.
The exhibition had an unprecedented scale with more than 20 categories of products representing the trend toward integrated organic agriculture.
The show hosted more than 15,000 visitors from home and abroad.
For the first time, nearly 10 organic enterprises from the United States came to the exhibition as a delegation.
Latest trend in the organic market and international certification standards were topics discussed by participating enterprises, industry experts and academics.
Telunsu gets its name from Mongolian for golden milk. Its pastures are located far from pollution at an altitude of 1,000 meters with 3,000 hours of sunshine annually and fed by mineral water. The soil is rich in protein and vitamins, making it ideal for growing grass.
Milk produced by cows grazing in the area has 3.3 grams of protein in every 100 grams, much higher than the national standard of 2.9 grams.
All Telunsu's products starting from May 1 use an anti-counterfeit code that can be tracked from the beginning to the end of the production and retail chain.
Registered on the Chinese food and agriculture website for certification and accreditation, a Telunsu product can be checked for authenticity.
This year, Telunsu is five years old. Since its debut, it led the domestic organic milk market.
In 2008's Boao Forum in Hainan province, Telunsu Organic Milk has won acclaim from foreign luminaries.
Its advantageous milk source, advanced processing technology, strict certification standards, quotas on production that comply with the laws of nature, and large market share are reason that Telunsu was given the gold award at the recent exhibition.
In 2011, Telunsu Organic Milk registered sales growth of 40 percent compared over the year before, accounting for more than 60 percent of the country's organic milk market share and the best seller in the sector for four consecutive years.
