Winter in Europe: Lufthansa Airlines offers tour packages to over 50 selected European cities from four Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Nanjing until Jan 8. Tickets start at 3,300 yuan ($518). Details at www. lufthansa.com.
Flying big: Singapore Airlines will use the world's largest and most fuel-efficient aircraft, the A380, between New York and Singapore with a stopover in Frankfurt from Jan 15. Travelers will be able to experience the airline's famous inflight service. Log on to www. singaporeair.com.
Straight to Denmark: Air China will launch a direct flight between Copenhagen and Beijing in June next year. The new route will have four weekly flights and be operated with an Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
In March, Scandinavian Airlines will open a new direct route to Shanghai with five weekly flights. SAS already has a direct route between Beijing and Copenhagen, which currently is the only direct passenger service to China from Denmark. More information at www.Ambbeijing.um.dk.
