Lots of eyes on Steve Jobs' glasses

Sales of Steve Jobs' signature glasses have soared in the last month, after the death of the Apple co-founder pushed the rimless specks back in vogue.

The German Lunor Classic Rund PP glasses, which were designed by Robert Marc and are retailing for $450-495, have sold out at Marc's eight New York stores, local radio reported.

Customers eyeing the glasses can put their names on a 12-week waiting list.

The specs were also on display at a trade show in Hong Kong with a photo of Jobs headlined: "Steve Jobs 1955-2011: We have lost an ultimate genius. What he has left us are his overwhelming ideas and his favorite glasses."

Some blogs have buzzed with criticism of the promotion, suggesting the company is cashing in on Jobs' death. But a company spokesman said: "People see these (glasses) as a tribute to Mr. Jobs."

Coke adds life to stylish 'shoes'

A ring of drug smugglers figured out a way to mold cocaine into replicas of pricey Manolo Blahnik shoes during a two-year international trafficking caper that ended this week.

Spanish cops busted the gang Tuesday with $630,000 worth of cocaine that had been carefully sculpted to look like the high-heeled, luxury women's footwear made famous on Sex and the City."

Each pair of shoes is estimated to have been worth around $70,000.

Five Colombians and a Spaniard were arrested after police at the Barcelona airport found the dope, which weighed around 9 pounds.

Bus driver tipsy? Kids call mom

A New Jersey bus driver has been charged with drunken driving after a middle school student texted home with "Mommy I think our bus driver is drunk she's not driving right."

Westampton police say Carole Crockett had a blood-alcohol level of 0.25 percent, five times the legal limit for operating a commercial vehicle.

Several of the 25 students on the bus called and texted their parents on Tuesday afternoon to alert them.

Vogue: Olsen twins best dressed sisters

Wedding album back 17 years later

No-fly zone for Korea college exam

'Collector' with 29 corpses arrested

Russian police have arrested a man described by local media as the "cemetery collector" for digging up 29 corpses and dressing the remains in female clothing to display around his flat. Grainy police video images of the man's cramped flat showed what look like several life-sized female dolls without faces, some with platinum blond wigs.
