Web Commments on Wang Meng's expulsion

Zhang Quanling, a famous CCTV host and news reporter, tweeted on her Weibo at sina.com

" The dismissal (of Wang Meng) is far from the end of this matter. It's said that Wang Meng will disclose what goes on behind the scenes in terms of sponsorship and doping. The short track speed skating team's coach Li Yan stressed that the root reason why a team with so many achievements could become a negative example within just one year should not be covered up. Our rival, the South Korea team, is tittering at this scandal.
"

Yuchi Xuemin, a CCTV sports special correspondent, tweeted on his Weibo at sina.com

" A meeting was held by the Winter Sport Administration Centre on Thursday night, Aug 4, at which Wang Meng and Liu Xianwei were expelled. Zhou Yang withdrew from the national team at the meeting, followed by Liang Wenhao and Han Jialing's declarations to withdraw from the national team after the meeting. Another squad member, Liu Qiuhong, also expressed her will to withdraw. All of the six are the leading speed skaters in China.

Zhang Ruowen, a CCTV sports channel journalist, tweeted on his Weibo at qq.com

"
I got a phone call from coach Li Yan just now. The once courageous and resolute woman showed me another side. 'What should I do now?' She asked. That is a good question. Most of the key players have left, so what should a coach do without her skaters? Please, give this matter a second thought.
