COLUMBIA, Missouri- Tunisia's Oussama Mellouli won the 1,500- and 100-meter freestyle Sunday to run his total of wins to five at the Missouri Grand Prix.
The Olympic gold medalist beat three other Olympians in the 100, finishing in 50.15 seconds. That was nearly the amount of his margin in the 1,500, where his time of 15 minutes, 1.65 seconds was almost 47 seconds ahead of anyone else.
Jessica Hardy beat Amanda Weir in the 100 free in 54.66 seconds a night after she won the 50 free.
Whitney Myers won the women's 200-meter individual medley, edging Rebecca Soni with a time of 2:17.42.
Olympian Chloe Sutton won her third race in the 800 free with a time of 8:34.55.
