One Chinese fan's enthusiasm for football has not been dampened by the men's national team who failed redemption at the latest Asian Cup.

Zhou Shuai has asked English super-club Arsenal for a trial by sending them an email in English and a video clip showing off his unique football skills.

"I would like to have the opportunity to play. Help me. Let me play it," said the 22-year-old from Northeast China's Liaoning province, who expressed his thirst for a trial in a message to the team's China website.

He told the club he could run 100 meter in 11 second, which can match Arsenal's blitz forward Theo Walcott. He could do 100 push-ups or sit-ups in 60 seconds, which is unparalleled by any football star in the world.

He hopes his three-and-a-half-minute video accompanied with music will prove his talent and skill.

Arsenal's China website said they will send Zhou's letter to the club in the UK.
