TIANJIN: China beat ill-prepared Kyrgyzstan 3-0 before a hostile home crowd in an international friendly here on Saturday.

Midfielder Yu Hai took advantage of a defensive lapse by the Kyrgyzstan to score the third goal to help China wrap up the win in the 46th minute.

The Kyrgyzstan side seemed to have run out of steam in the first half, and they left Yu unmarked before the goal area with only one minute after the interval. The midfielder picked up a clever pass from teammate Zhao Xuri and comfortably netted it.

But the spectators, most of them being the fans of Tianjin Taida club, seemed not happy with the performance of the Chinese team, and they booed every time when midfielder Yang Hao, a player from Tianjin Taida's rival Beijing Guoan, touched the ball.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 17th minute when burly-built striker Han Peng headed home a corner.

Midfielder Hao Junmin made it 2-0 in the 28th minute through a deft and lethal free-kick. He chipped the ball over the defensive all and sent it flying into left top corner of the goal, as the Kyrgyzstan keeper looked on being unable to make a save.

The Kyrgyzstan side, who just arrived on the early morning of Thursday, was apparently not in form and put on an erroneous game. They managed no shot at China's goal in the first half.

After the break, those visitors threatened only once when they hit the woodwork in the 48th minute.
