Russia sweeps men's cross-country 10km freestyle

YABULI -- Russian clean swept the medals of the men's cross-country 10km freestyle skiing of the 24th Winter Universiade here on Friday.

Aleksey Tchernousov crossed the line first in 27 minutes and 10.1 seconds to claim the first gold in snow events of this Games.

Sergey Turychev came in second with 27:10.1 while Konstantin Glavatskikh clocked 27:46.6 to finish third.
