Iguodala scored seven points in a 19-4 run during the third quarter to help the 76ers seize control for good.

"I (was) just being a little more aggressive," Iguodala said. "I just starting to get the feeling that I have been trying to get the whole. I have to continue to attack."

Iguodala scored six points in a 10-3 run to begin the fourth quarter, but Houston responded by closing the gap to four points on a Tracy McGrady layup with 2:05 to play.

"When they made their run in the fourth, we knew that we had to buckle down and not let them (get) easy drives," said 76er Louis Williams. "We kept it simple and got the shots that we wanted."

The Rockets fell to 0-3 on a five-game road trip. Luis Scola led Houston with 18 points and 17 rebounds. Chinese star center Yao Ming added 14 points, as did Tracy McGrady.

"They attacked and they got to the basket and whatever they wanted to do they did," McGrady said. "If they wanted to get to the basket, they got to the basket. If they wanted a wide-open shot on the perimeter, by God, they got that, too. We gave them everything."
