Corinthians give up Kleber, focus on Herrera

RIO DE JANEIRO -- The Corinthians said Saturday they gave up Kleber, who played for Palmeiras last season and belongs to Kiev Dynamo from Ukraine, and eyed on retaining Argentine striker Herrera.

"We do not have the money to bring in forward Kleber," said Corinthians.

However, the case with Herrera is not easy. His Argentine team of Gimnasia is no longer interested in loaning the player to Corinthians. They want to sell the player for $2.4 million .

Corinthians simply wants to prolong the loan.
