Italy marks men's 4x50m medley world record

BELGRADE -- Italy set a new world record in the men's 4x50m short-course medley relay in Rijeka of Croatia on Thursday.

The Italians timed 1 minute 32.91 seconds as they won the European Championships final.

The previous record 1:33.77 was set by Russia earlier in the day.
