MANNHEIM - Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf may not be the best mixed doubles team around. However, they still think they're the best married one.

The two retired tennis stars lost 7-5, 6-2 to top-ranked Justine Henin and the retired Goran Ivanisevic during Graf's charity fundraiser on Saturday.

Agassi had to give up the spotlight to his wife, still a hero in Germany, as they played near her hometown in front of more than 9,300 fans. A 22-time grand slam winner, Graf held the event to raise money for her charity, "Children for Tomorrow."

Graf, 38, had to pull out of the expected highlight - a battle of the generations with Henin - because of a sore calf. The German rarely plays, eight years after retirement.

"Tomorrow some parts of my body will hurt," Graf said. "But I'm happy that I could play at all. That was really up in the air."
