WASHINGTON -- The Bucks finished the NBA preseason with a 106-85 loss to the Timberwolves on Friday in Minnesota.

The Bucks continued to start out playing poor basketball by falling behind 30-16 at the end of the first quarter, looking similar to their falling behind 30-21 at the end of the first quarter against the Chicago Bulls a day before in Chicago.

Rookie Yi Jianlian from China saw his first time on the court at the start of the second quarter. He showed some hustle going after a loose ball, and at the 10:11 mark of the second quarter, he nailed a 20-foot jumper thanks to a Mo Williams assist. Yi collected 13 points and six rebounds in the match.

For the Bucks they were led by Gadzuric with 16 points, followed by 13 apiece from Michael Redd and Yi Jianlian. In 26 minutes on the court, Yi shot 9/12 FT's, showing once again he is aggressive on the offensive end by drawing fouls.

Andrew Bogut was sorely missed as the third year Center hurt his wrist against Denver, and after an MRI showed it is just a bruise, he will sit out until the season opener against Orlando Magic on October 31.

Minnesota ended up shooting 61.2 percent for the game including 66.7 percent from 3-point range. Milwaukee, who ended up 3-5 for the preseason, still has much work to do to get some sort of defensive game plan together before the start of the regular season.
