NEW YORK - In Rockets' preseason games, Center Yao Ming and forward Shane Battier are the only players to have started every game. Things may change Friday.

Coach Rick Adelman told reporters that he would probably alter his rotation dramatically for Friday's game against the Grizzlies. "I think you'll see a much different rotation, maybe start different people - maybe even sit a couple people out - with another game on Friday."

Even though, Adelman will still have enough time to determine his rotation before the season opener in Los Angeles against the Lakers on Tuesday.

Yao said he would have not have an issue with resting. "I feel like I'm in the middle of the season. I'm ready."
