Spurs' Parker Finals MVP honors

CLEVELAND - San Antonio point guard Tony Parker is the MVP of the NBA Finals after contributing 24 points and running the Spurs offense in their 83-82 win over the Cavaliers in Game 4 on Thursday.

Parker shot 57 percent while averaging nearly 25 points a game in the Spurs' four-game sweep.

Parker says "It's like a dream" to win the MVP award.

Engaged to actress Eva Longoria, Parker edged out teammate Tim Duncan for the award. Duncan had been the Finals MVP in the Spurs' first three NBA titles in 1999, 2003 and 2005.
