Venus Williams' first match in the J &S Cup tennis tournament on Wednesday confirmed that the American is back in good shape as she had no trouble defeating Michaella Krajicek of the Netherlands.

This year Williams has already played more matches than overall last year and there are no signs of any upcoming health problems.

Naturally, Venus did make some mistakes on the court Wednesday , though they were instantly corrected.

Venus usually visited Warsaw with her Mom, this time she's here with her Dad.

In the second round Venus will face Elena Dementieva.
