Reigning chess world champion Vladimir Kramnik of Russia held a 3.5-2.5 lead in the eight-game series of rapid matches against international grandmaster Peter Leko of Hungary, with Kramnik winning the fifth and Leko the sixth game in Miskolc, NE Hungary, on Saturday.
Kramnik won the third game played on Thursday, when the fourth game ended in a draw, just like the first two games, played on Wednesday.
The seventh and eight games will be played on Sunday.
