Gilbert Arenas continued his hot streak with a three-pointer at the buzzer to lead the Washington Wizards to a 108-105 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.

With the score tied at 105-105, Arenas launched a 32-footer from beyond the top of the key and remained expressionless as it sailed through the net to cap a 32-point performance.

"We knew it was going to be a close game but we just wanted to be the team to finish the game with a win," Arenas, who had 11 rebounds and eight assists, told reporters. "We pulled it out. We fought our butts off."

Antawn Jamison got a rebound with six seconds left and handed the ball to Arenas, who streaked up the court.

"We were not going to run a play at the end of the game," said Arenas. "The play was to get up the court and get a good shot."

Arenas, the Eastern Conference Player of the Month in December after averaging 34.1 points and 6.2 assists, calmly walked to the bench following the game winner as the crowd cheered; "M-V-P, M-V-P."

"He times it just right, he gets himself in position, and then it was just the flick of the wrist," Wizards coach Eddie Jordan said. "He is amazing."

Milwaukee (16-16) was led in scoring by Michael Redd's 27 points and Mo Williams's 24.

Forward Caron Butler added 29 for the Wizards (18-13) on 13-of-17 shooting from the floor.
