NEW YORK - Miami Heat forward James Posey has been suspended for one game for committing a hard foul on Chicago Bulls guard Luol Deng, the NBA said on Friday.

The incident occurred midway through the fourth quarter of the Heat's 109-103 defeat in Chicago on Wednesday.

Posey will serve the suspension later on Friday when the Heat visit the New Jersey Nets.
