ATLANTA - Carmelo Anthony scored 26 points to help the Denver Nuggets pull away in the fourth quarter and beat the Hawks 100-87 for a rare win in Atlanta on Tuesday.

The Nuggets had lost 15 of their last 16 games in Atlanta, but took over in the second half after the Hawks had opened up a 54-43 halftime lead.

Denver (12-7) rallied to lead 71-70 after three quarters and turned the game into a rout in the fourth, the Hawks missing their first 13 shots to fall behind by 17 points in the final quarter.

Anthony led the way as the Nuggets rebounded from a 105-90 loss to Dallas in the first game of their road trip on Saturday in which Anthony had just 18 points.
