This was Lin's second win over the Indonesian "bad boy" within three days in Doha after rumors became everywhere that the two were exchanging word.

"It is the media who created the story with. Basically I really don't care," Lin told Xinhua.

But the ace shuttler said he could understand the media staff because it was their job.

However, he admitted that he has little communication with the Indonesian, "It is bad not to greet each other off court. I will try to say hi to him from now on wherever I meet him and I hope the media will help in this matter," he said.

The two's clash in team semis seems much more friendly than the one in the pool stage, where the Chinese beat the Indonesian with the same sets. They retrieved the shuttlecock for each other with plain faces.

Li Yongbo, chief coach of Chinese badminton team said he expected quick peace between the two world top shuttlers.
