DOHA - China claimed the team title of the men's 50m pistol event at the 15th Asian Games here on Tuesday.

The Chinese trio, led by world champion Tan Zongliang, collected a total of 1,682 points.

The silver medal went to DPR Korea with 1,659 points, followed by South Korea with 1,657 points.

It was the sixth time that China won the event in their eight Asiad presences since 1974.
