DAGOC observe one minute silence for volunteer death

The Doha Asian Games Organizing Committee observed one minute's silence on 5 pm local time on Monday for a female volunteer who was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday.

The volunteer, aged 60, came from India named Jagadammamdhu Sudanan Thampi, who was tragically killed in a road accident on Sunday's night. She was a member of IT team of the 15th Asiand Games.

The DAGOC called for the working staff, journalists and spectators of the venues to observe one minute's silence for Thampi on Monday.

The DAGOC has informed the volunteer's family of her death.
