DOHA, December 4 -- A 96-year-old man has been given a special permission on Monday to watch Asian Games table tennis on the competition floor in the Al Arabi Indoor Hall.

"This gymnasium does not have a lift specially designed for the disabled and senior people, so we decided to allow all wheelchairs to enter the competitive field," explained Sonia Diaz, a senior executive of Doha Asian Games broadcasting service working for the table tennis competitions.

Xu Feng, a senior spectator from Chinese Taipei, watched on the floor the women's singles games of Lu Yun Feng and Huang Yi Hua, both from Chinese Taipei.
