LONDON - Iran's national Olympics committee executive declared that FIFA had not given any notice to Doha regarding the exclusion of Iran from the Asian games, ISNA reported.

According to the reports, FIFA suspended Iran's football on November 23rd but gave permission to the National football team to take part in the Asian Games, three days before the championships.

This is while the FIFA head declared on Saturday night that Iran had to conform to international standards by Tuesday.

A member of Iran's national Olympics committee executive speaking to an ISNA reporter observed that "FIFA has not given us any notice about expelling Iran's team from the games in case of any deviations in Iran's football principles in comparison with FIFA's".

"If they were to exclude Iran from the championships, then they wouldn't have let it get into the games from the start," commented Ali Kafashian.
Also the director of Iran's Athletics and Sports organization, Mohammad Aliabadi stated that FIFA had announced a three months deadline to Iran and so no problems threatened Iran's football.
