The closing ceremony of the
15th Asian Games in Doha will see an eight-minute performance from Guangzhou,
the host to next Asian Games in 2010, a Guangzhou Games organizer said on
Monday.

The performance of Chinese characteristics, named "Oriental Verve", is aimed
to show beauty of South China, especially the southern city of Guangzhou.
"We want the performance to give the spectators a feeling that we welcome
friends from all over the world. We will be a hospitable host," said Xu Hui, an
official from the Guangzhou Asian Games organizing committee who arrived here
two days ago.
Xu declined to go into detail but said elements of distinct Chinese culture
would surely be used just as it was in Athens.

Minutes", directed by China's most famous director Zhang Yimou, featured Peking
Opera, red lanterns and traditional Chinese music instruments
