Tajik footballer satisfied with Athletes' Village

Aleksandr Mukanin of Tajikistan felt great with the Athletes' Village of the 15th Asian Games in Doha here on Sunday.

Mukanin, goalkeeper in the soccer team of Tajikistan, told Xinhua that he totally enjoyed the lives in the Athletes' Village.

"I can find everything I need here. After training, I like playing tennis, surfing on the internet in the village," the 28- year-old Mukanin said.

The Athletes' Village, which opened on November 15, offers 32 residential buildings with 811 apartments for athletes. Chefs de mission officials will be accommodated in 45 apartments.

The village will be converted into a Medical City when the Asian Games are over.

Tajikistan delegation sends 41 athletes to attend the Asian Games, who will compete in archery, canoe and kayak, boxing and athletics.
