Brazilian soccer star Cafu, 36, who plays for Italian league team Milan, told
Tuesday's media he is returning to Brazil and playing there, after his current
contract ends in June 2007.

"I am thinking about what to do. I have discussed it a great deal with my
family. In January I will decide my future and my decision will be definitive,"
he said.
He said he had received offers from another Italian club, from other European
clubs and from one Brazilian team; having played for 10 years in Italy, first
for Roma and then for Milan.
He added that he would like to spend more time with his parents, who have
recently suffered health problems.
Cafu hold the record for playing in soccer World Cup finals: in the United
States in 1994, then in France in 1998 and finally in 2002 in the South
Korea-Japan World Cup. But he did not make it a fourth, as Brazil was eliminated
by France in the quarter-finals; a World Cup campaign that made him one of
Brazil's most criticized players in his home nation.
