Olympic runners-up Russia came back from one set down to beat Brazil 3-2
here on Thursday, claiming the title of the 2006 women's volleyball World
Championships.

It took Russia more than two hours to wrap up the final of the tournament
15-25, 25-23, 25-18, 20-25 and 15-13.
Early on Thursday, Serbia rallied to beat defending champions Italy 3-0 for
the bronze medal.
