Pierce's 32 points lift Celtics over Pacers 114-88

BOSTON - Paul Pierce scored 32 points and Wally Szczerbiak added 20 to lead the Boston Celtics to a 114-88 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.

Ryan Gomes had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Boston, which won for just the second time in eight games. Kendrick Perkins added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Al Harrington scored 23 points and Marquis Daniels added 15 for the Pacers, who fell to 4-4.

Boston, which led 47-45 at halftime, opened the third quarter with a 13-1 run. Sebastian Telfair and Pierce keyed the spurt with consecutive three-pointers, pushing the Celtics' lead to 58-46. The Pacers were held without a basket until Danny Granger's short jumper with 5:34 left in the quarter.
