LUANDA, Nov 15 - Angola were forced to cancel a friendly international in Tanzania on Wednesday because their charter flight failed to materialise, the state news agency ANGOP reported.

The Angolan Football Federation accused the state airline TAAG of failing to fulfill a commitment to fly the side to Dar-es-Salaam for the match.

"It is an incident that might tarnish the image of Angolan football," Angolan Football Federation Augusto Silva told state radio.

Angola, who qualified for last June's World Cup finals in Germany, had called up a full strength squad for the friendly, including players from Brazil, Egypt, Kuwait, Portugal and Sweden.
