EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Shaquille O'Neal returned to the Miami Heat lineup Friday night against the New Jersey Nets after missing two games with a bruised left knee.

O'Neal was injured in Miami's 91-85 victory over New Jersey on Nov. 3 when he collided with the Nets' Bostjan Nachbar. He missed a 108-97 loss at Philadelphia on Sunday and a 90-87 home victory over Seattle on Tuesday.

Results of X-rays and an MRI of the injury were negative.

Before this season, O'Neal had missed 162 games to injury in his 14-year career.
