Women volleyball leave for world champions (CRIENGLISH.com) Updated: 2006-10-26 10:41 The Chinese Women's volleyball team left Beijing Thursday morning for the upcoming World Championships slated to kick off in Japan on October 31. Head coach Chen Zhonghe named a young 12-member squad for the tournament. Some members such as Wang Yimei, Li Juan, Chu Jinling and Xu Yunli are competing in the World Championships for the first time. Chen Zhonghe said his team is in good form and hopes that the young team will place somewhere in the top four at the tournament.
