We have nothing to lose against Lyon, says PSG coach
(Reuters) Updated: 2006-10-25 08:56 PARIS - Paris St Germain
coach Guy Lacombe believes all the pressure will be on Olympique Lyon when the
teams meet in the French League Cup second round on Wednesday.
"Everybody thinks we will be beaten," Lacombe told reporters on Tuesday. "We
don't have much to lose."
PSG are bidding to become the first side to beat Lyon this season, with the
five-times Ligue 1 champions yet to lose domestically or in Europe.
"All teams have weaknesses, we have to find them. Lyon are not unbeatable,"
said Lacombe.
"I would say it (their first defeat) is approaching."
Lyon will be without France midfielder Florent Malouda through injury and
Brazil free kick specialist Juninho Pernambucano due to suspension.
Pierre-Alain Frau and Bernard Mendy are missing for PSG.
