NORRISTOWN, Pa. -- Former Philadelphia 76er Lee Nailon was fined $300 and ordered to do community service in a case in which he was charged with elbowing his wife in the face and throwing a picture frame at her.

Marti Nailon was left with a cut lip but did not seek medical care. She had confronted her 6-foot-9 husband after finding numbers of other women in his cell phone, assistant Montgomery County prosecutor Doug Rosenblum said.

Nailon, who last played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct Tuesday. The 31-year-old player completed anger-management classes and must perform 24 hours of community service and pay court costs, Rosenblum said.

Lee Nailon initially was charged with simple assault and harassment after the Jan. 24 argument at their home in Wynnewood. Marti Nailon wanted the case dropped and did not appear at Tuesday's hearing, Rosenblum said. The couple, who have several children and remain married, now live in Kansas, he said.
