SAN JUAN - Puerto Rico coach Julio Toro has finally confirmed his 12-man squad for the FIBA World Championship.

Angelo Reyes, Christian Dalmau and Larry Ayuso have recovered from their
respective problems and have been included.

Filiberto Rivera, part of the team that won the gold medal in the Centro-American and the Caribbean games in Colombia, is also on the roster.

Toro is happy with his team`s preparations for Saturday`s big tip-off in Japan, which sees his side play the United States.

"I feel satisfied," he said. "We've worked very hard the last two days.

"The players are tired mentally and physically but it is because they tried to do their best."

Puerto Rico fly to Japan on Monday, making a stopover in Dallas first.

They are expected to arrive in the Far East on Wednesday, three days before their opening game.

As well as the USA, Toro`s troops face Group D ties with China, Slovenia, Italy and Senegal.

Squad: Carlos Arroyo (Orlando Magic, NBA), Bobby Joe Hatton, Manuel Narvaez (both Leones), Christian Dalmau (Prokom Trefl Sopot, Poland), Filiberto Rivera, Angelo Reyes (both Criollos), Rick Apodaca (Polpak Swiecie, Poland), Larry Ayuso (Capitanes), Carmelo Antrone Lee (Conquistadores), Antonio `Puruco` Latimer (Maratonistas), Daniel Santiago (Unicaja Malaga, Spain), Peter John Ramos (Roanoke Dazzle, United States).
