The Nets took guards Marcus Williams and Hassan Adams in this year's draft and both figured to diminish playing time for Planinic, who is looking at a deal with Spain's Tau Ceramica.

In 148 NBA games over three seasons, Planinic had 2.5 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Last season, he averaged 2.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 56 games.
