Wang Zhizhi and Yi Jianlian were the stars of China's 57-53 victory over Senegal in the four-nation men's basketball tournament now being held in Strasbourg, France.

Ex-NBA center Wang Zhizhi snatched the game-high of 20 points and ten rebounds, while teenager Yi Jianlian added 14 points and ten rebounds to China's score.

The Chinese team controlled the match from the very beginning, leading 38-25 before the break.

After the third quarter, the Asian champions widened their advantage by 13 points.

The team made a couple of mistakes approaching the stretch as Senegal fought back to reduce the margin to three points.

But Sun Yue sealed the final victory for the Chinese team when he converted a decisive free throw with only 19 seconds to go.

China will next play hosts France in their last match of the tournament.
