According to the club's official website, Zico will fly to Istanbul on Wednesday for an official signing ceremony and meeting with the players.

The 53-year-old Zico resigned after Japan were eliminated from the World Cup and failed to reach the knockout round.

Zico will replace German coach Christoph Daum who quit following the loss of the Turkish league title to arch rivals Galatasaray.
