FRANKFURT, June 21 - Argentina have a fitness worry over Nicolas Burdisso after the right back limped out of Wednesday's 0-0 World Cup draw with Netherlands due to a leg injury.

Burdisso signalled to the bench before hobbling off after 24 minutes to be replaced by Fabricio Coloccini.

Coach Jose Pekerman said the defender faced a battle to be fit for the second-round tie with Mexico in Leipzig on Saturday.

"We are worried because he would never normally want to come off and he is very important for us," Pekerman told reporters.

"We will do tests in the morning and see what the doctors say but he doesn't have very long to recover.

"It would hurt us if he was injured."

Burdisso also played in Argentina's earlier Group C victories over Ivory Coast and Serbia & Montenegro.
