Englishman arrested in Frankfurt with forged World Cup tickets (AP) Updated: 2006-06-20 14:17
FRANKFURT, Germany - A 23-year-old man from England has been arrested
with 91 forged World Cup tickets in his possession, Frankfurt police said on
Monday.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken into provisional custody over
the weekend at Frankfurt airport after police received a tip.
Also on the weekend, two other Britons were provisionally arrested in the
area of the city's main train station on suspicion of dealing illegally in
tickets.
The men, aged 55 and 60, had 80 genuine tickets in their possession, police
said.
