MUNICH, June 14 - Saudi Arabia striker Sami Al Jaber, playing his fourth World Cup, said he did not know how the goals kept coming after scoring within two minutes of coming on as a substitute against Tunisia in Group H on Wednesday.

"Isn't it amazing. It is so exciting," 33-year-old Al Jaber said, smiling brightly. "At the end of my life, I mean my career, I keep scoring and I don't know why."

Al Jaber came on in the 82nd minute and two minutes later ran into the box, tucking the ball home and giving his country a 2-1 lead, before the Tunisians equalised in stoppage time.

Al Jaber who has 161 international caps and 44 goals has played in every World Cup his country appeared in, starting in 1994.

Revered in Saudi Arabia as the architect of their first qualification 12 years ago, Al Jaber had a brief stint on loan to English side Wolves in 2000 but his international club career never took off.

"Something is happening in my life and I just keep on scoring. I just hope it continues," Al Jaber said, who first started playing for the national team 16 years ago.

Saudi Arabia next play Ukraine and Spain.
