The 2004 "Super Voice Girl" runner up, Zhang Hanyun signed a contract with a electronic magazine on the opening day of the World Cup 2006, being the anchor of a network program named "Daily Multi-media", the Southern Metropolitan News reported.

At the signing ceremony, Zhang announced a piece of World Cup news with heavy HK & TW accent . The CEO of the magazine revealed that Zhang will announce the World Cup news periodically as a Soccer Baby.

When some people doubted that an announcer should not speak HK& TW accent , Zhang said she had been unconsciously influenced by the HK and TW tv serials since childhood.

The CEO explained: " The requirements for a net announcer are not as strict as the tv's, Zhang is an idol of young people, I believe she will be definitely welcomed by our netizens, that's enough."

When being asked whether Zhang is a soccer fan or knows the World Cup, Zhang said honestly: "I don't know soccer and say nothing of soccer teams and players, but my job is to announce the news, that's what I can do."
