WANGEN, Germany, June 6 - Goals from Emmanuel Adebayor, Thomas Dossevi,
Mohamed Kader Coubadja and Yao Senaya led World Cup debutants Togo to a 4-0 win
over local side Wangen in their final warm-up on Tuesday.
"I was satisfied with the match but we missed quite a lot of goals and we
will have to work on that," Togo's German coach Otto Pfister told reporters.
"We have a good chance against (South) Korea and after that we will see."
Togo launch their challenge against Korea in Frankfurt on June 13. Their
other Group G opponents are Switzerland and France.
German brass music was joined by Togolese drums and Mexican waves before the
start of Tuesday's game.
The spa town with 20,000 citizens gave a warm welcome to the African team,
flying thousands of Togolese flags that had been handed out.
Togo, who have only qualified for a handful of African Nations Cup
tournaments and have never won a trophy, shocked the established order by
finishing top of their World Cup qualifying group ahead of Senegal.
However, not having scored a single goal at this year's African Nations Cup,
the team are rank outsiders in Germany.
