PARIS, June 5 - The French Football Federation (FFF) has lost 552 tickets for its three group matches in the World Cup.

A box containing the tickets bought by the Alsatian regional league was lost in transit between Paris and Strasbourg, the FFF said in a statement on Monday.

The electronic chips have been deactivated, meaning the tickets can no longer be used.

France open their World Cup campaign against Switzerland in Stuttgart on June 13. Their other Group G opponents are South Korea and Togo.
