SAN JOSE, May 23 -- Costa Rica's soccer coaches will attend the friendly games played during the next two weeks by Germany, Ecuador and Poland, the nation's Group A rivals in the 2006 Germany World Cup, Eduarado Mendez, from the coaching team, told Tuesday's Costa Rica press.

Manager Alexandre Guimaraes will watch Germany against Luxembourg on May 27 and against Colombia on June 2. He will also watch Poland against Colombia on May 30 and Croatia on June 3.

Erick Lonis, Guimaraes's deputy will watch Germany play Japan on May 30, while Costa Rica is playing its last duel against the Czech Republic. Geovanny Alfaro, deputy manager of Costa Rica's under-21 team will travel to the United States state of New Jersey to watch Ecuador play Colombia on May 25.

"We hope to see their definitive team, in the same way they want to see the final version of the Costa Rica team against the Czech Republic," Mendez said.

To protect Costa Rica from "spying" eyes, Guimares said that he will try several versions of his tactics, without revealing which he will use against Germany.
